Date unknown, copy after c. 465-455 BC. 33 mm, 140 g (Obverse) / 115 g (Reverse).
- Obverse: Head of Athena right, wearing crested Attic helmet ornamented with three laurel leaves and vine scroll.
- Reverse: AΘE, owl standing right, head facing; olive sprig with berry and crescent moon behind, all within incuse square.
- Reference: HGC 4, 1596, Starr Group V.
This die set was purchased from the estate of a jeweler and is believed to be a contemporary copy of a Starr Group V.B Athens Tetradrachm.
